How does Lock Time affect accuracy?
A firearm which is hand held is continuously moving. There is a time delay between the pull of the trigger and the discharge of the firearm. This delay allows the firearm to move off the intended target. Therefore, the shorter the lock time, the less time the sights have to move off target, resulting in a more accurate shot.
How does the Lightning Strike Striker work?
By using a titanium alloy, and deleting non-critical mass in the striker, the Lightning Strike product is 60% lighter than the original factory equipment. This reduced weight increases striker velocity, greatly decreasing lock time.
What about using hot loads?
If the competitor shoots, reloads and runs them hot or uses rifle primers, then they will have some deterioration in the spade tip area, and will need to be replaced from time-to-time.

Do you make a steel version?
We do make a lightweight steel striker which splits the difference in weight and lock time between the factory striker and our Titanium Striker. The reason for the lightweight steel striker is for the competitor to use hot reloads or rifle primers with more duration.
